Buddhist Study Groups The purpose of our study groups is to learn about the different aspects of Buddhism. Through study we are able to translate the timeless teachings of the Buddha and find ways of incorporating their meaning into our daily lives. At our centre in Harrogate we run weekly study groups, covering the basic foundations of Buddhism along with current teachings. Along the way aspects of the history of Buddhism are covered with a high emphasis on the importance of authentic Buddhist lineages. Most importantly is that we take our time when studying or simply reading about Buddhism; ask questions, reflect, consider things with fresh eyes and then go from there regardless of how experienced we are, we have found this to be a very helpful way to approach Buddhism. Our Buddhist study sessions require booking in advance. The sessions last one hour and cost £2.00 Please note anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
