Amitabha Practice Day

The Buddha of Limitless Light

Saturday 12th April 2025

Practice Day at Bolton Abbey North Yorkshire

In April 2024, Lama Jampa gave the Initiation of Buddha Amitabha and the transmission of Powa the following September, thus completing the cycle of Amitabha. Kagyu Dechen Dzong is hosting an Amitabha Sadhana study and practice day at the village hall at Bolton Abbey.

This special day will cover all aspects of the sadhana including the food offerings known as Tsok associated with Buddha Amitabha and will conclude with the full Amitabha Puja. You must have received the Amitabha Initiation to attend this practice day.

This is a wonderful opportunity to receive guided instruction with time allocated for questions. Lama Jampa has asked Angela Brady to lead the day, as she has considerable experience with this practice, having
completed an Amitabha retreat.
